Cyprus brick is the pentadoron brick — the fourth of the four brick types used by the Romans — made of clay and various additives, with all the familiar properties of brick. It is still produced in several regions of Cyprus. Dark Cyprus Brick is a distinctive product that goes beyond ordinary brick.
Because of its dimensions and surface texture, once installed it can also read as stone. Its near-symmetry brings it close to coursed stone cladding, while its ability to carry brick colours keeps it in the brick family.
